Emmah Money, the 2020 Australian of the Year South AustralianLocal Hero, is an author, podcast host, motivational speaker, MC, entrepreneur and cystic fibrosis advocate. Living with the life-threatening genetic disease cystic fibrosis, Emmah understands firsthand the challenges of navigating an invisible and complex illness.
Given a life expectancy of just 37 and placed for adoption only days after she was born due to the severity of her condition, Emmah’s life story has been one of resilience and determination. Now in her thirties, she continues to defy the odds and inspire audiences through her advocacy, leadership and community work.
Emmah is the founder of CF Mummy, a platform supporting individuals and families navigating chronic illness, motherhood and life’s unexpected challenges. She is also the founder of emPOWER you, a series of women’s empowerment events designed to connect, inspire and uplift women through shared stories and meaningful conversations.
A published author with her memoir The Words Inside released through Penguin Random House, Emmah is also the host of The Princess of Possible Podcast, where she shares honest conversations about resilience, turning adversity into strength and transforming the word impossible into “I’m possible.”
Alongside speaking at schools, corporate organisations and community events across Australia, Emmah mentors many within the cystic fibrosis community and remains deeply committed to raising awareness and funds for cystic fibrosis research and support services. Through her advocacy and community initiatives, Emmah has helped raise over $100,000 for cystic fibrosis charities.
Emmah is also a mother of four and Director and Co-Owner of Travis Doudle Racing Pty Ltd, where she works alongside her husband in the management and growth of their professional thoroughbred racing stable.
Through her speaking, writing and advocacy, Emmah continues to inspire others to live with resilience, purpose and the belief that even the impossible can become I’m possible.

Empowerment Speaking
2020 Australian of the year, SA Local Hero, Emmah Money is an author, mother, motivational speaker and Cystic Fibrosis Ambassador. Emmah lives with the life-threatening lung disease Cystic Fibrosis and knows firsthand the challenges that come with this debilitating invisible disease.
With a life expectancy of just 37, was given up for adoption at only days old after doctors believed she wouldn’t survive. Now in her thirties, Emmah has a list of credible achievements including; 2020 South Australian Local Hero, the 2019 Australia Day South Australian Women Hold Up Half the Sky Award, a Baton Bearer for the 2018 Commonwealth Games Queen’s Baton Relay to winning Channel 9’s Young Achiever Award in 2017 in the Community Category.
Emmah inspires her audiences with her powerful account about overcoming obstacles, including bullying and depression, and living with an invisible disability.
Emmah is a great example of what persistence, hard work and passion can do and is a great example that anything is possible.
A global advocate for Cystic Fibrosis and an Ambassador for the Cure4CF Foundation, Emmah is an active campaigner, raising awareness through her social media platform, CF Mummy. As well as speaking at a variety of events across Australia, Emmah mentor’s many within the CF community. Emmah is passionate in raising funds for Cystic Fibrosis; having raised more than $50,000 to support research in finding a cure.
Emmah published her first book, her autobiography; The Words Inside, at 17, going on to win national Australian magazine Girlfriend, Girlfriend of the Year award and becoming the National Youth Ambassador for Cystic Fibrosis. She has also shared her story with the likes of former US president Bill Clinton and super chef Jamie Oliver.
With a list of to do’s, not impossibles, Emmah not only speaks from the heart and connects with her audiences, but she also motivates and provides actionable, proven steps in her talks.
CF Mummy
Motherhood was always something Emmah longed for but given her illness, it was questionable as to if it was even an option.
At the age of 24 the unimaginable happened, Emmah fell pregnant naturally.
With a lack of resources and support at the time, Emmah began CF Mummy.
Through her blog and social media Emmah openly shares her journey as a Mother, Emmah talks about pregnancy and life as a Mum.
Through Emmah's experiences, she shares exactly what it is like to be a Mother with a chronic illness.

Cure4CF Foundation
The Cure4 Cystic Fibrosis foundation is a non-for profit organisation.
Cure 4 Cystic Fibrosis exists to find the cure. As individuals we are relentless and passionate in our fight against CF together we form a remarkable force.
Established in 2009, the Cure4 Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (Cure4CF) is a registered not for profit charity with the primary goal of finding a cure for cystic fibrosis.
Cure4CF seeks to raise funds for the most promising medical research across the nation.
